Unknown assailants broke into the computer laboratory of Namboko Seed Secondary School in Namisindwa District on Monday night, stealing eight computers.

Amos Masibo, the chairperson of the school board, expressed disappointment over the incident, noting that it occurred just days after the school welcomed a new headteacher. He urged authorities to intensify investigations and recover the stolen equipment.

Bosco Nabboge, the Assistant Resident District Commissioner (ARDC) for Namisindwa, condemned the attack and confirmed the arrest of two suspects—Rogers Khaloma and Sitsangi Sefu—both serving as security guards at the school.

Bosco added that additional suspects are on the run, and security agencies are actively pursuing them to aid the investigation.
