Government has tasked to add on the money which is being given to elders from 25000shs to at least 100,000shs in order to support them to live in better life
This call has been made by one religious leader with a good heart pastor Kawooya Charles of Evangle Church and also director of Glory Nursery and Primary school Waluukuba Masese Jinja Southern Division while offering to over 300 elders, vulnerable people and the disabled ones with meat, rice, Jerri cans soap from his friends as part of the social cooperate responsibilities
He says that these items given out worthy 38 million and that as a church resolved on this cause to reach their vision and also used this occasion to donate a brand new car to one of the church members in the names of Bwiire Richard from the church to help him in his services to the nation

And the coordinator of elders from Eastern Region Mukama Ahmed says that he has moved Busoga region but unfortunately elders beyond 80 years and above are very few and that government should reduce on the years and also to increase on the money being given to them as elders.#cityNews
