Vipers close in on Masaza Cup MVP Amour Munogera

Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC is in the final stages of signing attacking midfielder Amour Munogera.

The lanky playmaker was voted the 2024 Masaza Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) after an outstanding performance with Ssaza Buwekula.

His contributions helped Buwekula secure a bronze medal before he was crowned the tournament’s best player.

Munogera has been training with the Kitende-based club, impressing both the coaching staff and management with his talent.

He is expected to sign a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.

If the deal goes through, Munogera will strengthen Vipers’ midfield, providing more creative options ahead of a demanding season.

Vipers SC finished the first round of the 2024-25 Uganda Premier League season on top of the log with 34 points from 15 matches.#CityfmSports
