In a commendable effort to support the healthcare needs of the community, the Iganga Healthcare Development Association, led by its patron Dr. Kazungu Muhammad and Treasurer Omulangira Mudoola Miika, has successfully delivered essential items to all health centers in Nabitende Sub County.
Donation includes mattresses and syringes for various health centers

Specifically, Kasambika Health II received mattresses and 400 syringes, while Itanda Health II, Nabitende Health Center II, and Ituba Health II each received 400 syringes

Bugono Health Center IV was fortunate enough to receive a wheelchair and 400 syringes.
These items came from Captain Mike Mukula through Hajji Walubi Abubakar – NRM Chairperson Iganga the chief Mobilizer of the association

Mr. Mubi Blessing, the assistant RDC of Iganga and in charge of Health, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Iganga Healthcare Development Association for their tireless efforts in lobbying and equipping the local health centers

He encouraged the people of Nabitende to utilize these resources effectively

In related news, the people of Ituba have expressed their desire for the Ituba Health Center II to be upgraded to a Health Center III due to the facility’s high patient volume and the frequent absenteeism of nurses

They have called upon the government to address this issue and improve the healthcare services available to the community
