Suspected Karamojong Warriors Kill One in Agago

Residents of WipoloCentral Cell in Laimutto Town Council, Agago District are in fear following the murder of one of their own by suspected Karamojong warriors
David Oryang, 39, a resident of Wipolo Central Cell met his death
According to eyewitnesses, the attackers wanted to steal goats
However, when Oryang opened the door to find out what was going on, he was shot dead on the spot. Police said the suspects made off with one goat and a phone.
The police have launched an investigation into the murder and recorded statements from relevant witnesses
They have also recovered four cartridges from the scene
According to the police, the deceased’s body is still at the scene, pending a post-mortem examination.
